This picture of a retaining wall and exterior building shows extremely high moister/mould and dampness on both walls. As a building inspector this will raise attention to the interior wall and cavity for further inspection relating to moisture penetration through exterior wall. 

In this circumstance the moisture had got passed the waterproof membrane and created wood rot and mould to the structural frame work inside the cavity wall
